Windy Hollow Biscuit House and Museum
Opened in 2022
Windy Hollow owner, Evelyn "Rooster" Miller and her daughter, Hallie McCarty, opened the Windy Hollow Biscuit House in May 2022.
The Biscuit House is located in the heart of the city, next to Wesleyan Park Plaza, the oldest shopping center in Owensboro.
The Biscuit House has changed their format and menu many times to offer what the customers have requested!
Now open 6 days a week, the Biscuit House has become a go-to place for breakfast, lunch, lattes, and a place to host parties and groups.
Our Buffet
When opened, Rooster and Hallie wanted to do something different than the buffet, as was the tradition since the 1960's at Windy Hollow.
Very quickly, customers expressed their desire for the buffet! So, just 4 months after opening, a buffet was added.
The menu still has opening day favorites such as the "It's a Tater Mess", Hallie's Comet, and the Deconstructed Biscuit Plate.
Since 1964, Windy Hollow has served their classic "Country Ham Breakfast Buffet" which is now available on Saturday and Sunday at the Biscuit House.
Tuesday - Friday we have a smalled breakfast buffet with lunch and salad bar added at 11am!
