All-you-can eat! Sunday Breakfast Favorites!
We only use a nice thick cut Clifty Farms Country Ham, proudly made in Paris, Tn. Great tender ham, salt cured for at least 3 months. Yes, it is salty but unlike other country hams it isn't too salty.
Another star of the buffet is our thick cut bacon. This isn't the normal bacon others use on their buffet. YUM! Bacon like your grandmother would have had on her breakfast table.
A southern favorite! A special mild blend Jimmy Dean sausage! The sausage flavor isn't over the top so even none sausage eaters like this sausage!
Yes, fried chicken for breakfast! Enjoy your favorite piece of chicken with our special seasoning, fried to a perfection! You can't go wrong with this chicken!
We spend literally hours hand cracking fresh eggs each week. They are griddle cooked fresh but rest assured if they are out, it will only be a short wait. Fresh food, especially eggs, are worth the wait!
Our apples are coated with cinnamon and sugar then cooked until tender.
A couple more hours are spent on hand-cutting potatoes each week. No frozen potatoes here!
Fresh cooked pancakes and French toast are on the buffet each week. Try them with a little apple butter...yummy!
What southern breakfast is complete without grits? None! Our ground corn grits are made in Hopkinsville KY. Do you add anything to your grits? Our plain grits only have a little salt and butter added so you can add your favorite things to them.
Ky grown corn grits with real cream, cheddar cheese, chopped garlic and salt are then baked to meld all of those great flavors together. Even if you don't like grits, you may like these!
Light, fluffy biscuits, baked in-house are a perfect size for anything you want to add to them! Top them with bacon and apple butter for a great sandwich!
Sawmill gravy is a great southern name for a peppered milk gravy. Our buffet features 2 kinds - plain gravy as well as our sausage gravy with fresh cooked sausage crumbled up and stirred in for extra flavor.
Fresh, hot donuts! YUM! A Windy Hollow buffet favorite for more than 45 years!
What? Banana pudding for breakfast? Yes! A great way to top off your meal!
Be sure to look at the thousands of items on display on the walls and in the museum and tucked away in every nook and corner!
